Heartland is an arts and ideas festival outside Copenhagen in Denmark which aims at producing powerful experiences as well as lending perspective to an understanding of our present-day world.   It takes place at Egeskov Castle, which has been recommended as one of the 12 most spectacular gardens in the world by CNN.
